SMALL

GROUPS

SCROLL DOWN FOR MORE

At The Gathering House, we value intentional community, building relationships and furthering our understanding of what we’re called to do outside of our church walls.

As much as going to church on Sunday mornings is essential, there is something powerfully unique when gathering around a living room, a small classroom, or a dining room table as a small group that fosters spiritual growth both individually and as a whole.

That growth causes us to expand our focus outwardly and encourages gospel transformation in the communities we live in.

Following are our current small groups, click on the photos of the leaders to read the description, view a map & obtain directions to the location, and obtain their contact info if you're interested in joining, or have any questions.

Off-Site
Small Group for Couples
Last Thursday of the month
6:30pm to 8pm

Our goal in this group is to further

strengthen our relationships with our spouses, and

with one another, while having an evening breaking

bread together, encouraging one another and

having fun.

Our previous 6 session series was based on the

movie "Fireproof" and our new series (starting end of January 2019) is entitled "Love & Respect" (visit www.loveandrespect.com for more info and an introduction video).

We gather at The Gathering House for a 'pot blessing' taking turns to bring the main course, or salad, or dessert for the group. Using the "Love & Respect"  small group leaders and participants guides, we have discussions over dinner & each session we all decide who brings what to the next month's dinner.

We meet every third Sunday of the month after

and the afternoon runs till about 4:00 pm.

There are presently 9 people that participate regularly and the tentative plan for the coming season is to study “The Spirit Filled Life” by Dr. Charles Stanley.

Guests are asked to contribute a dish to share.
