The Gathering House is a café-community-church located in Chesterville, Ontario.
Our hope it is to grow in community with the good folks of Chesterville and its surrounding area. We believe good things will happen when we invest in each other’s lives.
We are excited about our relationship with Jesus Christ and so we involve ourselves in various “discipleship” activities to grow that relationship. We worship together Sunday mornings at 10am.
The community is what we believe will develop as we connect through common interests. Whether it is discussing a New York Times best seller as part of a book club, enjoying a children’s entertainer, or sharing tips in a knitting club we believe our lives can be enriched as we come together.
The TGH Café offers free WiFi and serves a wide aray of coffees, teas and homemade treats. We feature a specialty drink and treat monthly.
OPEN 9am-4pm Mon, Wed, Fri
CLOSED Tuesday & Thursdays
Café is closed on Sundays (for Worship) but the doors are open and the coffee is on us!
* Open Saturdays for community events (such as Art on the Waterfront and the Market)
The café is run entirely by volunteers and provides a list of recovery cost prices for donations.
Please come in, sit down, relax and enjoy!

The Community Kitchen is a team of volunteers that meet once a month to prepare meals (in portion sizes) for people in the community who are in a time of need. The team also heads up the monthly (free) community suppers, preparing the meals, setting up, and clean-up afterwards.
Volunteers are always needed and appreciated. If you would like to join the Community Kitchen team, please contact Jack or Cathy at 613-989-2164.
Community Suppers (FREE)
On the last Friday of each month (from September to April), we enjoy an amazing supper together as a community. The meals are prepared by our Community Kitchen group and whoever would like to contribute a dish. There is a sign-up sheet in the Café a few weeks before the date.
There is no charge. If you are in a position to make a donation, we do receive donations to our "Love Your Neighbour Fund" which is an emergency fund available for people in our community who may have a critical need.
Community Suppers are a great opportunity to meet new people and celebrate our community together.
